These are the last words of stabbed private investigator Sylvester Green – before he is whisked away by ambulance from Soho’s Lady’s Bar.

Lady’s Bar’s glamorous owner, drag queen Misty Divine, hears in his words both a warning and a puzzle. Perhaps that’s why she’s less than candid with the police.

Because Misty has Sylvester’s notebook, which hints that she’s connected to the case he wanted to solve – the disappearance of Jeremy Edmunds.
